Nike Outfits the Air Max 270 in Black & Neon Green
Following the same formula of the “Hot Punch” colorway.
Since 2018 started, Nike has been busy pushing the Air Max 270, injecting several new colorways into the line. Now, following the unveiling of the Air Max 270 “Hot Punch” and a Flyknit version of the shoe, the Swoosh has put a black and neon green spin on the silhouette.
Following the same design formula of the “Hot Punch,” Nike outfits most of the shoe in a standard black and places a heavy dose of neon green onto the bottom heel counter area and its accompanying portion of the outsole. Combining black uppers with vibrant, well-cushioned Air Max sole units has proved a hit in the past, and this release will certainly be no different. Most notably, a gradient effect allows the green area to go from light to dark as it reaches the spot where the black upper materials and heel counter meet.
You can take a look at the black and neon green Nike Air Max 270 above, while the shoe itself will be available for $150 USD on Thursday, February 1.
Earlier this month, Nike went with a more accessible and traditional look for the design with the revealing of the “Core White” Air Max 270.
